Let's get you back on track.

Contact the developer at hello@ecomvision.team or @ecvmgmt on Telegram.

For a bug, include your app version, device model, operating system and what happened just before the problem. Hide balances, access codes and personal information in screenshots. Never send your Apple Account password.

Where is my data stored?

Your personal budget is stored locally. If you create or join a family budget, that separate budget syncs through iCloud and is visible to its members. The app also requests public exchange rates and quotes, and checks a Pro access code if you entered one. See the privacy policy.

How do I back up or move my budget?

Open Settings and export your data as a JSON backup. Keep the original file somewhere safe. On another device, import it into the same or a newer app version and review the import confirmation before proceeding. A personal budget does not automatically become a shared family budget.

Do not uninstall the app to troubleshoot before saving a backup. An exported file contains financial information; share it only with people you trust.

Family says “Quota exceeded” or cannot save an invitation

Family sharing uses Apple's iCloud, not an ecomvision budget server. If iCloud refuses new writes because its storage is full, the app cannot bypass that limit. Check iCloud storage in system settings, especially on the owner's account. Free space or increase storage if you choose to continue sharing.

Do not delete the budget or sign out of iCloud as a first step. Keep local records and a backup. After iCloud becomes available, open Family again and retry. Until a change has synced, another member may not see it.

An invitation says “Share not found”

Ask the owner to open Family → Invite & Members and send the current invitation again. Both people should use the App Store version and be signed into iCloud. A development-test invitation is not interchangeable with an App Store invitation. An owner may also have stopped sharing or revoked the link.

How does quick entry work?

Type an entry, for example “Coffee 5”, then check the amount, account, category and date before saving. The natural-language parser currently supports Russian and English. Voice entry is available only when the device supports on-device recognition for the selected language.

Can I scan a receipt?

On supported iPhone and iPad devices, use the scanner to read a receipt QR code. Supported receipt codes can fill in the amount and date; this is not a general image-to-text bank statement scanner. Review the result before saving.

How do I add widgets or reminders?

Add Finances through the system widget picker. Available widget types depend on your device and OS. Widgets are included in Analytics and in an eligible trial. Turn on logging or payment reminders in the app's settings; notification permission is needed.

On iPhone, you can also add supported Finances controls in Control Center. Hidden amounts and app-lock settings protect sensitive values in supported widgets and shortcuts.

What is free, and how do I activate Pro?

Core record keeping, accounts, planning and goals are free. Pro adds Analytics or Analytics + Assistant. An eligible seven-day trial is available; ordinary updates do not restart an already used trial.

For an access code, open Settings → Finances Pro → Enter Access Code. Activation needs internet. See plans and conditions. If a purchased code is missing, use code recovery (currently in Russian) or email support. Do not post the code publicly.

Can I use other currencies?

Choose the display currency in Settings. Supported accounts in other currencies can be converted using public exchange rates for summaries. Rates and their dates matter: a displayed conversion is not a guaranteed bank or trading rate. Review your account currency and the calculation before relying on the total.

The available amount looks wrong

Open “How it's calculated” on Today. Check which accounts are included, unpaid planned payments within the chosen period, reserves and the next income date. Missing or duplicate transactions and an outdated balance change the result. The app can only calculate from the records you provide.

How do I protect or delete my records?

Use the app lock and hidden-amounts controls. Export a backup before deleting anything. Deleting local data is not the same as deleting a shared budget from iCloud: use the family budget's controls to leave or end sharing. Copies exported by you or another participant cannot be remotely recalled.

The Mac app closes unexpectedly

Please send the Mac model, macOS and app versions, and the action that caused the crash. Do not remove the app's data folder. If the app opens, export a backup first. We are preparing a native Mac update; the App Store will show it when Apple approves and releases it.
